We was early today in our hired car.First breeder today was Kase, here i brought a nice selection of 25 koi all mainly white in this box of 17 - 24cm. Then onto Aoki ,other koi buyers here so just a short stop to see what is available and of again .Just around the corner we then went to Suda. Most of his koi here sold. Then a long journey to Jiroske ,here they wae busy unloading koi into there fish house from the mud ponds, so while they carried on we went to Otsuka who was not far away up the road. This breeder has some special koi varities here.I found a nice selection of 12 mixed koi. After Otsuka we was of to Ikarashi,he owns a shop next to his koi farm so we had lunch before looking at Ikarashi koi.Did not buy here and so back across the hills to Jiroske ,they had emptied yet more mud ponds ,by now the indoor ponds looked much more now full of various sized mixed koi. We tried to pick out a good selection, but found prices to high to buy due to exchange rates not in our favour.
Here at Maple Koi we specialise in the keeping and retailing of high quality Koi carp. Our reputation as a family run Koi business has built up over 17 years of selling Koi, building ponds, on-site services, fish health and pond maintenance.
We pride ourselves in sourcing some of the best Japanese Koi from some of the top breeders in Japan. We only buy direct from Japanese Koi breeders. We also travel to Japan to select the koi once or twice a year.
